Initial Full Assessment

Standardised / non-standardised tests will be used to assess various areas of sensory functioning and learning. Tests will include sensory processing; visual perceptual skills; gross motor and fine motor co-ordination; memory etc. The cost includes the full assessment; feedback to family and teacher (if requested) and a report.

Sensory Assessment Only

$250.00

Sensory questionnaire will be given to the family (and the teacher if requested) and observations will be done of the child to see how his / her sensory system is impacting on learning and behaviour. The cost includes the administration and interpreting of the sensory questionnaire; feedback to the family and teacher and a report.

Individual Therapy Sessions

$75.00 for 1/2 hour

$150.00 for 1 hour

These sessions will happen in the home environment so that the child is relaxed and focused. The cost includes travel within Whangarei and a home programme for family to follow between sessions. If the child is outside Whangarei, travel cost might need to be revised depending on the distance travelled. The last 5 - 10 minutes of the therapy session will be handing over the home programme to the family.
